The Bikeride Empordà road version is a 156 km circular route, mostly through low trafficked side roads which have been designed to be completed in 2 days. You can stay one day longer, whether in Girona, Tamariu or Llafranc and do some tourism around.
This route starts in the town of Girona, with a first mid-mountain stage through the Massís de les Gavarres and on to the Baix Empordà and its medieval villages up to Tamariu.
From this point, we offer a second stage which runs from Tamariu to Calonge, among coves, fishing villages, beaches and small hills. The way back to Girona runs along two small mountain passes of low difficulty, allowing us to better knowing the Gavarres.
Level of difficulty:
The Medieval Empordà route is a mid-low physical difficulty level route with no technical difficulties, so all you need is to be used to some road bike outings to be able to complete it easily.
